Advanced Security Features

The Ghost CANBus Immobiliser is entirely discreet, with no key fobs or LED indicators to reveal its location. Instead, it cleverly integrates with your vehicle’s existing buttons—such as those on the steering wheel, door panels, or centre console—allowing you to create a unique, changeable PIN code sequence. This sequence must be entered before you can drive the car, just like entering a PIN code for your credit card. For enhanced security, you can set your PIN code to be up to 20 presses long.

Seamless iPhone Integration

While the Ghost provides extreme security, it also offers incredible convenience. With the Autowatch Ghost iPhone app, you can bypass the need to enter the PIN code altogether. Once paired with your vehicle, the iPhone application allows for an authorised connection via a unique pairing code. Simply leave the app running in the background with Bluetooth enabled, and you can drive away effortlessly without needing to input your PIN. New QR Code Fingerprint Feature

The latest update to the Ghost CANBus Immobiliser, which has been insurance approved, includes an exciting new QR Fingerprint code feature. This unique code adds an extra layer of security to your vehicle. The QR fingerprint code stores all of your vehicle’s critical information (such as registration number, VIN, engine code, registered keeper details, and more), and is strategically placed around the car in hidden locations. These locations are recorded on the insurance database during the installation. In the event your vehicle is stolen and its identity is tampered with—such as the number plates being swapped or the VIN being removed—the fingerprint codes can still be used to identify your car. Simply scanning the QR code will reveal the vehicle’s true identity, ensuring it can be traced back to you.

As of March 2020, every Autowatch Ghost CANBus Immobiliser installation must include the QR fingerprint code to meet insurance approval criteria.
